We are a family owned and operated small business! The store was opened in 2010 by Logan and Patty Goodon. The Goodon's had over 20 years in the flea market industry.
See, I got bit by the collector bug at a young age and learned a lot from my maternal grandmother, Violet Bass. She was a collector and a bona fide "pack rat". Like most women I like to shop but I LOVE a great bargain!
For years we dreamed of having our own business. We had spent our lives working hard for others and making their businesses successful. We looked at a couple of other businesses but nothing seemed to fit until we came across Home Town. So we took our retirement and invested it so that we could purchase the flea market in June, 2012.
On May 26, 2024 our world was turned upside down and the landscape of Rogers was forever changed when a number of tornadoes totally destroyed parts of our beloved town. The building that housed our store was on top of our treasures. We had not standing exterior walls. Gone in the blink of an eye. We have never experienced anything like this before and hope that we never will again. We salvaged what little we could. Blessed that we were not open at the time since there would have surely been a greater loss of life.
We re-opened further down on Walnut Street, closer to downtown on August 1, 2024.
We love our store! It has a great mix of merchandise at all price points and we have the best prices in town. We are blessed with great vendors and terrific customers.
We hope you will come by and visit our store. If there is anything we can do for you, please let us know.
Old store after May 26, 3024 tornado!
